The Platinum Accountancy Services Team 

You could say I’m the Fairy Godmother of the team at Platinum Accountancy Services. I love what I do and am really motivated to support businesses throughout their life. It’s not quite as simple as waving my magic wand but I do help people make their wishes come true. 

 

Some of my clients have been with me for 10 years when I was running the service alongside other roles, but I have been full-time for four years now. The team has been growing for the last two years. 

 

The part I like best is the variety of businesses I work with. I know running a business can be lonely and even overwhelming sometimes. I help transform business results, especially when I work with them from the very beginning. 

 

As a mother with two lively young daughters life is always busy, especially outdoors with the dogs and horses. I also love travelling and hope to go back to South Africa where I volunteered and I later got married there too. Although I have stepped back from Girl Guiding for now I was on the World Finance Committee and I’m sure there will be another role for me in the future when my girls are older. 

 

Bubbly, straight-talking and dedicated. 

Some of Stevie’s clients have been working with her for over a decade. She has experience of working within practise and within the corporate world including the hospitality, security and medical science sectors. Honestly, though, she’s interested in people – so she’ll be happy to support you whatever sector you’re working in. 

 

She’ll become part of your team and all the information and advice she provides will be personal to you. When you’re ready to appoint a full-time FD, she can help you with that too. 

 

Like so many of us, Stevie’s life changed when she started her family. Now the busy mum of two lively girls she understands as well as anyone the importance of getting the work-life balance right.

Daily challenges and variety it offers, if there’s something not working - figuring out what it is and the satisfaction of achieving the end goal, and learning new skills and developing with the role. 

 

Taekwondo with my son - which we both love (4 nights a week), studying ACCA and running (normally charity runs) to support the great causes they stand for.

I’ve been part of the Platinum Accountancy Services team for just under two years, which have flown by! 

 

I enjoy working for my friend and being able to work flexibly. You can find me riding my horse Magna or drawing. I particularly enjoy drawing animals and especially dogs and horses. When I get a spare moment, I enjoy swimming too.

In my role at Platinum Accountancy, I collaborate closely with Stevie, focusing on various aspects of the company's operations. Primarily, I am involved in shaping and refining our strategic direction, ensuring that our business goals align with market trends and opportunities. Additionally, I contribute to enhancing leadership and management practices within the organisation, aiming to foster a cohesive and efficient team that drives our success forward. 

 

I first met Stevie approximately two years ago when she introduced me to one of her clients. Our professional rapport was established right away, and as luck would have it, our collaboration coincided with a period of rapid growth for Platinum Accountancy. Recognizing the value of our partnership, Stevie extended a gracious invitation for me to become a part of the team. 

 

The best thing about working with platinum accountancy is working alongside Stevie, who is an absolute gem! She breaks the mold of what you might expect from an accountant. Her dynamic and lively personality brings a unique energy to our work. Beyond that, her skill as an accountant and finance director is truly top-notch. But it's not just Stevie—our entire team exudes friendliness and a "can do" spirit. This combination of vibrant personalities and strong expertise creates an environment where collaboration is not only productive but also genuinely fun. 

 

One of my recent passions has been crafting and designing my very own campervan. There's something incredibly liberating about embarking on spontaneous adventures and indulging in wild camping at stunning locations across the UK. 

 

Additionally, I prioritize my mental well-being through meditation, which provides me with a sense of balance and tranquility amidst the busyness of life. I'm also an enthusiastic lifelong learner, so love reading. 

 

Positive, dynamic, fun 

In my role at Platinum Accountancy Services, I work closely with Stevie to support the smooth running of the business. My responsibilities include diary and inbox management, handling administrative tasks, and providing back-office support to ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently. I also assist with organising priorities, coordinating, and supporting the wider team where needed. 

 

I first met Stevie around five years ago. We quickly developed a strong working relationship, and as Platinum Accountancy continued to grow, Stevie invited me to join the team. 

 

What I enjoy most is working alongside Stevie and supporting her in running the business. She brings incredible energy, warmth, and expertise to her work, and it’s a pleasure to help keep things organised behind the scenes. The team has a friendly, positive, and proactive culture, which makes the role both rewarding and enjoyable. 

 

Outside of work, I love travelling, exploring new places, and trying new experiences whenever I can. I enjoy making the most of time with family and friends, whether that’s heading off on an adventure, discovering somewhere new, or simply spending quality time together. Staying curious and connected is really important to me.
